Cosmetic-Grade Triclosan

DropPrev® DP300 is a cosmetic-grade preservative ingredient based on Triclosan, supplied as white crystal powder. Triclosan is a broad-spectrum antimicrobial agent with activity against Gram-positive bacteria, Gram-negative bacteria, and some fungi. Its primary mechanism is inhibition of FabI (enoyl-ACP reductase) , a key enzyme in bacterial fatty acid synthesis, alongside disruptive effects on bacterial cell membranes.
