Overview：When oxidative stress and inflammatory reactions occur on the scalp due to various endogenous and exogenous factors, a persistent micro-inflammatory process develops. This further leads to perifollicular fibrosis and thickening of the connective tissue sheath, hindering the deep anchoring of hair follicles and the nutrient supply to the hair bulb, thereby exacerbating hair follicle miniaturization.

Lysyl hydroxylase is an enzyme that catalyzes the hydroxylation of lysine in collagen proteins, contributing to the synthesis of mature collagen. Elevated collagen levels can lead to significant hardening and contraction around the hair follicles, delaying their growth. Over time, the hair follicles die, and the scalp becomes visibly thinner.

DropCare^® DO (Diaminopyrimidine Oxide) helps soften collagen by inhibiting lysyl hydroxylase activity, preventing fibrosis. It acts on the deep structures of the hair root during the growth phase, increasing hair density, restoring hair root vitality, and promoting sustained healthy hair growth. It also helps improve hair loss caused by premature weakening of the hair roots.
